Visual Library
Since its inception, the Marilyn Horne Foundation has been
facilitating archival audio and video taping of many of
its performances. In particular, as of its inaugural festival, The
Song Continues…1997, archival tapes of its master classes,
seminars, and Annual Recitals have been made either
in video or audio (or both) format. We are happy to provide
the public with the opportunity of a private viewing of
these special events or recitals in the headquarters
of the MHF at 250 West 57th Street, Suite 603, NYC. We
will be delighted to welcome you to our office and to
prepare your ‘viewing room’!

WFMT Syndication
In 2005 the MHF and WFMT Radio Network Chicago partnered to produce a special 13-recital series for national syndication, reaching 92 US markets and 2 international markets. The series consisted of 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons of On Wings of Song and proved so successful, a second syndication was produced in 2006. MHF’s Erica Strauss and Thomas Bagwell get tips from the maestro at the taping for Saint Paul Sunday.
Saint Paul Sunday
Saint Paul Sunday, the nation's most widely listened to weekly classical music program produced by public radio, is produced by Minnesota Public Radio/American Public Media. It is heard on 219 stations nationwide by some 600,000 listeners (and in New Zealand on Concert FMN and on XM Satellite radio!) and features performances and interviews with the world's top classical musicians. Host Bill McGlaughlin draws out the human side of each guest by combining in-studio performances with conversation. This allows the music to tell the story of the artists' life. Senior Producer Mary Lee says that "Saint Paul Sunday tries to capture a snapshot of a musician at that moment" giving the audience a glimpse at how musical moments, mentors, and colleagues have shaped the artist.
Marilyn Horne and several MHF artists have been featured twice on Saint Paul Sunday. The first segment, which featured soprano Dina Kuznetsova, baritone Troy Cook and pianist Brian Zeger, was aired May 25, 2002. The second segment, featuring MHF soprano Erica Strauss, tenor William Ferguson, and pianist Thomas Bagwell, aired May 13, 2007.
Both of these segments may be accessed on your computer by going to http://saintpaulsunday.publicradio.org/programs/ , clicking the appropriate year, and scrolling to the date.
