A Message from Marilyn

Dear Friends,

Since 1993 when we launched the Marilyn Horne Foundation to promote classical song recitals, we’ve reached over 100,000 children and adults - sending over 100 fantastic young vocalists into major cities and small towns across 26 states. As a result we’re seeing a revival of classical song recital in the making and watching many of our vocalists advance into international careers.

Although we’re presenting nearly 30 recitals and 75 school programs per year, we’re not a big office. We do it all with a staff of three and a part-time intern -- with a budget well below many arts programs.

That means you can feel assured that we’ll use your donation wisely.  If you’d like to see our financial report, see Guidestar. The MHF is also a 501(c)(3) non-profit so your donation is tax-deductible.

I hope you can attend one or more of our recitals – and also help us in making them available across the US.
